About:
We’re seeking an experienced Safety Advisor from a logistics/ industrial/ heavy goods background who can implement systems and drive a positive safety culture across multiple sites.
Overview:
Our client, a highly successful business with a National footprint is seeking a Safety Advisor who can hit the ground running. We’re looking for a safety professional who can implement systems and policies, drive initiatives and reduce risks while being able to take a proactive approach to safety. We’re looking for a safety advisor who understands safety matrixes and can talk about delivering measurable outcomes and KPIs. You will have a background in the blue collar/ logistics/ heavy goods sectors with experience of working with a broad range of stakeholders, being able to get buy-in when implementing new systems and visiting the regional sites.
Duties:
- Undertake site visits
- Regional travel
- Support/ undertake incident investigations
- On site assessments
- Organise, coaching and provide training
- Review systems and JSA’s
Requirements:
- Cert 4 in Safety and above
- A demonstrated knowledge of safety legislation
- Logistics/ Heavy goods background
- 1 year + in a similar HSE role
