job description

Randstad has partnered with a successful and reputable civil construction business that operate across Australia and New Zealand. They deliver a wide range of projects across bridges, dams, marine and tunnels and much more.


Due to an exceptionally busy project pipeline for 2020 this successful civil construction business requires an additional safety professional to join their HSEQ division.

They are looking for a safety professional to run and oversee projects in the NSW region, ensuring their projects continue to be delivered successfully within strict legislative safety guidelines for all employees, sub-contractors and suppliers concerned.


To be considered for this role you will require;

  • Minimum Cert IV in Work Health and Safety
  • 4 years + experience working in the construction industry, ideally civil construction
  • Outstanding organisational skills
  • Ability to liaise with all levels of individuals in a construction environment

As a safety advisor you will be carrying out a range of duties including but not limited to the following;

  • Assisting and carrying our audits
  • Reporting to the safety systems manager on solutions to unforeseen problems that arise
  • Guiding site staff on correct safety procedures and promoting the safety culture daily
  • Develop SWMS and other procedural paperwork
  • Carry out incident investigations
  • Support the Safety, Quality and Environment systems will all compliance requirements of the Company Management System (CMS);
  • Provide advice and support to project teams on Quality Assurance matters;
