    Randstad is currently seeking an experienced Transport Co-ordinator to join the our client located in Canningvale WA. The role of the Transport Co-ordinator is to ensure the effective use of the company fleet and drivers in accordance with policies, legislative obligations and customer requirements. Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, the successful applicant will be responsible for:Organise the day-to-day operations to ensure that the allocation of work and driver schedules are adhered to. Ensure all new employees are inducted and trained before commencement as our guidelinesCoordinate the mandatory training required for drivers and ensure they are competent to perform task/s and that records of those competencies are well maintained and up to dateEnsure compliance with safety obligations under our policies, procedures, customer requirements and legislative obligations.Maintain and monitor all Transport systems for full efficiency.Actively foster a co-operative relationship through regular contact and showing a genuine interest in customer welfare and success.Efficient and effective management of drivers and fleet resource.Produce correct despatch documentation including, but not limited to Pallet Dockets, invoices, Con Notes and carry out driver debriefs Customer service Input, monitor & maintain data held in client business systems.Identify growth opportunities & assist, develop future business or actions for improvement.Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as the point of escalation If you have any questions please email Hana.Ismail@randstad.com.au.
