The centre:

The Role:

  • Nursery Room Leader - responsible for the planning and programming for the 16 children in your care
  • Communicate positively and openly with children on an ongoing basis
  • Create stimulating, positive and appropriate environment to foster and support development
  • Conduct observation and evaluation of children's development
  • Provide physical care, assisting children in daily routines and meal times
  • Respond to the emotional needs of the children
  • Maintain up to date records for each child within the group


  • Bachelor in Early Childhood Teaching or Diploma in Early Childhood Education with prior experience in a similar role
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC) or Teaching Accreditation
  • Current First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of EYLF and NQF
  • Competent in all areas of Child Care compliance, legislation, and WH&S
  • High level of professionalism and communication with families and co-workers
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care
