About the Opportunity

Are you a Return to Work Advisor with high level Consultative/RTW experience? Would you like to take the next step in your career and work for a State Gov’t agency across a number of functions? Then this is the role for you!

I am representing an organisation within the NSW Government space that are offering an opportunity within their respective Corporate Services Division, with this particular role located in CBD, great money, and a focus on cases of work & non-work related injury to optimise return to work outcomes and contribute to the reduction in workers compensation premiums

About the role

You will be someone who is comfortable working with multiple sites and multiple workforce backgrounds, responsible for a wide range of Return to Work tasks. You will implement and maintain strategies to monitor and evaluate workers compensation liability to contribute to the continual reduction in premiums and resolve situations of risk. You will be providing business focused advice which balances the needs of the organisation and its employees, given the diversity of work and locations across the organisation.


About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role, but in short you will have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role (RTW or OHS, Recover at Work etc)
  • Demonstrated Ability to interpret and apply legislative and statutory requirements
  • Experience in undertaking workers compensation claims management and return to work programs including liaison with TMF agencies, and collaboration with management, to comply with legislative requirements
  • Ability to prepare, analyse, implement and coordinate management/incident reporting
  • Experience working with a complex organisation or State Gov’t highly regarded
