Join our client’s vibrant team as a Secondary Religious Education Teacher, bringing your passion and expertise to make this role your own! Key responsibilities include:
- Teaching Religious Education and an additional subject area to secondary students.
- Using formative assessments to enhance learning outcomes and tailor instruction to individual student needs.
- Employing innovative teaching methods and using CANVAS, the school's student learning management system.
- Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with educational best practices.
- Contributing to a team-oriented, positive teaching atmosphere.
- Motivating students and fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Demonstrating strong organisational and communication skills, ensuring timely completion of reporting and administrative tasks.
Qualifications for this role:
- Current NESA accreditation to teach in NSW & current NSW Working with Children Check.
- Qualified to teach secondary Religious Education, including Studies of Religion + an additional subject area.
- Proven ability to use assessment data to inform and improve teaching practices.
- Familiarity with CANVAS or similar learning management systems.
- Evidence of ongoing professional learning and development.
- Strong commitment to collaborative teaching and learning.
