    My exclusive client is seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer for their flagship operation in Australia which is located on the beautiful south coast of WA and is just 20 minutes from the coastal community of Hopetoun.

    Reporting to the Planning & Reliability Superintendent, the successful Reliability Engineer will provide Condition Monitoring, Lubrication and Continuous Improvement activities across all areas of the operation. The position will have constant interaction with the maintenance planning and execution to define effective maintenance strategies.

    Responsibilities include:
    • Defining the sites condition monitoring requirements
    • Analysing and reporting on equipment health
    • Liaising with contractors for the delivery of technical services and analysis of plant performance
    • Carrying out condition monitoring inspections as and when required
    • Carry out failure investigations on chronic and catastrophic failures
    • Work with the Engineering Superintendents to improve the reliability of their areas
    • Perform any other duties are requested by your supervisor.
    The following qualification and experience will be highly desired:
    • Mechanical Engineering degree
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a mining plant maintenance role
    • 2 years of which should be in leading condition monitoring, lubrication or continuous improvement teams.
    • Knowledge of Pronto, SAP or other enterprise systems
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and continual improvement focus
    • Skills in root cause analysis and failure investigation
    • The ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people from diverse technical and workplace backgrounds.
    • Experience Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
    • A WA Manual Driver’s Licence
    • Experience in project management
    • Ability to establish and maintain strong and effective working relationships with other members of the team and across other departments within the business.
    PLEASE NOTE: I am also urgently seeking 6 x Reliability Technicians - details below:
    • These roles form the Precision Maintenance Team who look after all lubrication, vibration data collection, thermography, laser alignment, ultrasonic testing etc.
    • Seeking someone with a Fitting or Mechanical trade background or possibly even military.
    • Requires entry level qualifications in one or more of these disciplines (Lubrication – LCAT 1, Vibration VCAT 1, Thermography – TCAT 1) or more.
    • Initially starting on contract but would look to progress to full time employment.
    • Looking for self-starters with a high level of pride and ownership in their work – top performers who want to become technical experts.
    • This will mainly be a hands-on role – 80% field work and 20% office based.
    It is expected that the successful candidates will possess strong oral/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. They will display initiative, attention to detail, and have the ability to work autonomously and unsupervised whilst contributing to the wider team's objectives of ensuring service delivery exceeds expectations.
