- Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in accordance with best practices and relevant regulations.
- Assess and monitor residents' health, develop care plans, and implement interventions to ensure their well-being.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and support staff, to deliver holistic care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Foster a supportive and respectful environment for residents, families, and colleagues.
- Participate in training and professional development activities to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Aged Care nursing.
- Grade 5 Nurse classification.
- Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when necessary.
- Strong communication skills and empathy towards elderly residents.
