job description

My client is a leading Australian company based in Sydney CBD who is looking to hire a Regional/Field Services Technician/Level 2 support person on an intial 6 month fix term contract.

Your role:

- Manage and maintain over 20 sites within NSW

- Ensure desktops, laptops and other IT devices are supported

- Respond to requests escalated by the helpdesk team

- Provide face to face level 2 support

- Escalate issues to 3rd level support where issues can't be resolved

- Support and maintain/configure routers/switches (must have)

Skills/Experience:

- Networks/Routers/Swithches - basic configuration (must have)

- Desktop/Laptop support at Level 2

- Basic WAN/LAN knowledge

- ITIL experience

- 4 Years technical support

- Supporting and administrating Windows platforms

- Strong problem solver
