About the Role

As the Regional Technical & Maintenance Planner, you will be located in Rhodes. You will be responsible for providing technical guidance with respect to current assets and give quotes as required. You will have to maintain resource plan/s to meet provincial and legal prerequisites. Reporting directly to the Strategic Asset Manager, you will be required to:

  • Manage and upload estimates over contribution limits
  • Manage asset register, variations, compliance and PSM schedule
  • Undertake QA compliance of documents based on risks & benchmarks
  • Approve administration prior to uploading documents
  • Technical support & advice including claims
  • Maintain strategies to drive liability & value for money
  • Proactive identification of failing assets
  • Manage condition assessment
    Responsible for personal and team safety and Zero Harm initiatives
  • Hazard and incident identification, reporting and elimination approached pro-actively and consistent with company policies or procedures
  • Time management to meet personal and team required timelines and outputs
  • Ensure risks are accurately identified, contained and countermeasures are put in place
  • Assist in measuring costs, efficiencies, and delivery of services and support service improvement initiatives
  • Model high standard of behaviour for others through own actions
  • Undertake formal and informal workshops, seminars and other development opportunities for professional growth and improving service delivery

The Successful Applicant will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Trade Qualified
  • Over 5+ years’ experience in property &/or statutory maintenance of assets
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements
  • Experience in asset scheduling & procurement
  • Experience in commercial environment
  • Experience in estimating
  • High level of resilience in working under pressured environments
  • Ability to translate, research and apply other trade disciplines to decision making

Must have Australian residency with full working rights, pay rate negotiable depending on experience.
