Regional Sales Manager, VIC & TAS

Join a dynamic organisation that operates across foodservice and retail. Our client is an innovative category leader, especially with their new and exciting meal solutions range. As a proactive sales professional, you will have the opportunity to become part of a progressive, successful business.

Reporting to the General Manager Sales, this role will manage business objectives ensuring execution of the agreed sales and marketing activities. You will utilise resources effectively to ensure you deliver a competitive advantage for the company.

You will have a passion for or background in the foodservice, health or age care channels. Ideally you have proven success in managing a sales team and a proven record of success within a competitive distribution model, preferably within the Foodservice/Food and Beverage FMCG environment. A key focus of this role will be to drive the meal solutions range.

You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering on each sales goal, profit and sharing objectives for Victoria and Tasmania
  • Lead, manage and develop a sales team
  • Provide effective team coaching in field to develop selling and technical skills
  • Ensure timely and effective management reporting
  • Lead joint business planning with select key accounts
  • Input to annual planning processes and working effectively across all functional activities
  • Proactively identify opportunities to accelerate growth through analysing customer, competitive and business trends

This is a fast paced and dynamic role where you will need to work autonomously but also engage as a passionate and enthusiastic team member and leader. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to develop and maintain relationships both internally and externally. You will be a skilled negotiator, with an in-depth understanding of the customer, wholesale and retail environments.
