As a result of continual growth they are actively seeking to employ a Regional Sales manager to help drive new opportunities

This challenge will see you selling solutions based on value and application, not price within the industrial and commercial chemicals sectors. You will be required to analyze client’s needs and provide a solution that will add value to their business. You will have a strong focus on business development and building relationships with key decision makers and furthermore you will act as the first point of contact for any client needs and ensure that their requirements are being met.

Role Outline

  • Understand the needs and wants of customers
  • Lead, manage and develop a team of sales representatives and field service technician/s to professionally service customer accounts in assigned areas
  • Develop a sales forecast/budget for each representative’s territory and ensure that appropriate strategies are taken to achieve these volumes
  • Ensure that product costs and required sales margins are understood and policies clearly defined for representatives to work to in quoting customers for business
  • To understand the company’s products and potential areas of extension and develop strategies to expand the company’s sales opportunities wherever practicable

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven ability to lead and manage a field sales team, preferably in industrial or commercial products to a diverse customer base.
  • Competent written and verbal communication skills to deal effectively with both the sales representative team and customer contact.
  • Solid negotiating skills.
  • Good administrative attributes appropriate to the management responsibilities involved.
  • The person is likely to be very strongly motivated to succeed in a competitive sales environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
