Are you looking for an immediate start, short-term role, based in the Adelaide CBD, with the opportunity to lead a small team? You no longer need to keep looking. This opportunity offers the chance to work with a close knit team within a key government department, to assist them through a period of change, to keep the wheel turning and demonstrate your strengths in end to end recruitment.

The job

Reporting to the Director of HR and managing a team of 5 HR and Talent Acquisition specialists, you will oversee the day-to-day management end to end recruitment for a large scale project. You will partner with the business and people leaders to support future resource planning, recruitment requisitions and strategic sourcing initiatives that support the business strategies. The business leaders will value your timely high-level advice on strategic recruitment practice, as well as your understanding of the roles, environment and culture. They respect your ability to provide leadership and clear direction.. Next to this they your collaborative approach to developing solutions for recruitment problems and your pro-activity with ensuring your team implements high standards of candidate management and process.

The Manager

You will work alongside an experienced manager who will support, guide you to find your way and allow you to contribute to the team during the time you are there

The Key responsibilities

  • Partnering with the business, broader talent team and the people leaders to deliver end to end recruitment
  • Establishing sound relationships and engaging with key stakeholders within the business
  • Project management and continuous improvement processes to actively promote an innovative and consultative recruitment solution to the broader business
  • Establish panels and liaise with departmental leaders

Your focus and strong stakeholder management skills with all levels of the business will be great for this job. Australian experience as a recruitment team leader or higher is the ideal background. Your ability to flexible, creative and resourceful will help you to secure this job. Experience in public sector recruitment beneficial, and DCSI clearance required, but if you don’t have that please don’t hold back and still apply.
