Randstad is a preferred supplier to the WA State Government for temporary workers. We have an exciting, long term opportunity for a Contracts Administrator to start immediately. This opportunity is with a well established department who are looking for a contracts support officer who has worked in particular with contract coordination and contract management. The main duties and skills required for the role include: Maintain the internal contract register, including updating information and identifying contracts requiring action with regards to review, extension, termination and re-tendering for goods and servicesProviding support with simple and written quotation processes and preparing paperwork, contacting suppliers and preparing associated award papers.Preparing contract performance review agendas and minutes in support of contract review meetings.Attending contract review meetings and taking minutes as required.Providing support to the Strategic Procurement Manager in maintaining the currency of contractual documentsTo be successful you will have the following:Knowledge of contracting and procurement related issues, trends, policies and procedures.Experience in contract development support and contract administration.Demonstrated understanding of financial transactions, i.e. invoicing & reconciliationThe ability to use initiative and deal with issues in a professional and productive manner.Sound interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills, with the ability to liaise with a range of internal and external customers professionally.
