Randstad has been partnering with Government departments and authorities across Australia for over 25 years. We are currently seeking an experienced Records Management Officer for a short term contract based in the Adelaide CBD.

Our client requires the services for an experienced Records Management Officer to deliver a specialised range of administrative functions within the context of the Records Management Unit. This opportunity is based in the CBD offering full-time or part-time hours and the length of assignment it to be determined once you review the work.

About the role:

  • Mapping /updating the client’s Business Classification Scheme in Technology One (ECM) with GDS 30
  • Box and list finance and old meeting agendas send to storage
  • Arrange the scanning of records before being sent to storage
  • Review destruction list of existing records at storage provider

About you:

  • Experience in the operation of Electronic Document and Records Management Systems ideally Technology One (ECM)
  • A knowledge of records management principles and practices including sentencing, boxing and listing
  • Proven ability to use initiative and judgment
  • Ability to review existing practices and procedures and recommend appropriate change
  • Proven ability to maintain/organise data and maintain confidentiality

To be successful for this opportunity you must have the ability to work with minimal supervision as well as displaying high attention to detail. The successful applicant must also have experience in the application of General Disposal and Records Disposal Schedules.
