Randstad is partnering with a well known Federal Government Department for an exciting new opportunity based in Newcastle CBD. We are seeking an experienced Quality Officer to commence in a full time temporary contract until 31/07/2020 with the possibility of further extension.

Your new role:

The Quality Officer will be responsible for quality and performance activities to support day to day operations in an expanding network. A major component of the role will be implementing at a regional level the quality initiatives as determined by the National Office Quality team and framework.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and tracking performance, identifying areas for improvement ensuring a customer focused approach to continuous service development and improvement.
  • Undertake internal quality assurance processes, as defined by the National Office Quality framework, including sample audit programs and reports on service delivery quality trend analysis and outcomes analysis.
  • Analyse regional performance against Key Performance Indicators and identify improvements for procedural changes as required.
  • Manipulating and presenting data to contribute to the development of reports.
  • Providing thorough information and effective support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Managing competing priorities and allocate tasks.
  • Undertaking research and prepares associated reports and correspondence.
  • Providing ongoing feedback to teams to ensure quality outcomes.

About you:

You have a minimum of three years of experience in a recent and similar position. You are analytically minded and have the ability to complete tasks expeditiously. You possess strong time management skills, allowing you to prioritise a number of duties at any given time. It is highly desirable that applicants have an understanding or lived experience of disability.
