AJ+C is a leading Australian architectural firm offering experience, integrity and innovation. They have delivered award-winning buildings, urban design and interiors projects.

They are looking for a Quality Manager to join the team with a focus on the management and continuous improvement of our Quality Management System, based in Sydney. This is a key leadership role within the practice and it is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a great team and play a key strategic role within the business.


You will be a great communicator and have a passion to guide and teach those around you to achieve superior results. You are resilient and patient and have demonstrated experience in influencing senior leaders and lead change across a business. You are committed to high quality outcomes and high standard of service.


  • Manage and continually improve AJ+C’s Quality Management System to allow it to more effectively support an agile and collaborative workplace, and meet AJ+C’s operational targets
  • To improve operations and procedures that directly contribute to the quality of AJ+C’s design and professional services
  • Maintain AJ+C’s ISO9001 certified Quality Management System
  • Seek business improvement opportunities across the practice
  • Coordinate Technical Reviews across the practice
  • Maintain operation and seek business improvement opportunities across various resources and systems such as Standard details, NATspec resources and Australian Standards
  • Support the Practice Manager as required on a number of working groups, PSA, review consultancy contracts and assist with the preparation of fees and scopes by Directors
  • Contribute to the development of employees
  • Oversee AJ+C’s Work, Health and Safety System and Program
  • Maintaining, coordinating, instructing, managing upwards


  • Masters qualifications in Architecture
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience post-graduation
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and enact change programs across a business
  • Superior ability to solve ambiguous problems
  • Strong communication skills including careful listening, written and face to face communication
  • Passion to lead, coach and guide others
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
