We are currently seeking applications for a Quality Manager for a specialist hydraulic manufacturer. Our client is an established Adelaide based business, family owned, fast growing hydraulic supplier, developing, designing and manufacturing cutting edge technology for the defence, agricultural and industry sectors. This role will commence as a permanent full-time role from their Salisbury Offices.

Working closely with the business owners and manufacturing teams you will take a lead and be the Quality leader across the projects you work on. Liaising with Engineers and Supervisors to ensure that best practice quality systems are put in place as the business increases in size.


  • Maintain ISO90001:2015 accreditation
  • Conduct internal audits, reviews, and investigations, implementing corrective/preventative actions
  • Meet customer internal & external requirements, manage the complaint process, manage vendor assurance programmes
  • Manage the Quality Management System and the development and roll out improvements of SOP's, documentation and associated processes
  • Implement, train and maintain Lean manufacturing principles and 5s methodology Company-wide
  • Drive continuous improvement of the quality management processes
  • Act as a Quality Representative; delivering training and education to all stakeholders around Quality in order to ensure a ‘quality culture’
  • Coordinate and manage Production validations as per ISO systems
  • Prepare and deliver regular performance reports – QMS, Customer complaint, LEAN activity

You must have:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a quality position
  • Accreditation as an Internal Auditor - Desirable
  • Working knowledge of standard ISO9001/2015 - Essential
  • Proven quality management experience with a strong understanding of quality management systems
  • LEAN manufacturing qualification
  • Demonstrated computer literacy – CRM, ERP proficiency
  • A sense of urgency in your working approach and methods
  • The ability to build relationships within all levels of a business
