  • This is a 6 month full time temp role with a possibility of a 12 month extension.
  • Mainly working from the Oxford Street/Victoria Barracks (Paddington, Eastern Suburbs of Sydney), then occasionally working from home.
  • APS 6 equivalent paying $350 to $377 per day + super
  • To start between 21st-31st January 2021 (ideally).
  • Working Mon - Fri (37.5 hours per week)
  • A valid/current Baseline Security Clearance (AGSVA) or NV1 Clearance is required.
  • Working on an interesting training program (Army’s largest training roll-out)

The Program:

  • Working in the DATE program, which is currently being rolled-out across Army, to analyse their responses to threats/terrorism/criminals by using various realistic scenario’s in a fictitious world with ficticious characters.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop & monitor the Quality Assurance & Risk Mgmt Framework.
  • Ensure that training quality standards and systems meet performance standards mandated by the US.
  • Ensuring that the resources required to implement the DATE training program is sufficient to meet quality standards.
  • Analysing the training environment, conducting service quality reviews, to then provide recommendations for future improvement initiatives.
  • Assessing & evaluating the DATE program:
    • how it was delivered, are the plans/scope correct, do they support the end user?
  • Establishing and implementing the quality assurance policy, assurance manuals, including quality objectives and targets.
  • Prescribing accountabilities and responsibilities of all personnel:
    • Army staff, trainers, suppliers & contractors
  • Identifying issues from a complaint/customer enquiries perspective and promoting a customer focus.


  • You must have 2+ years of recent Quality Assurance or Project Governance experience.
  • You must have a valid/current Baseline Security Clearance (AGSVA) or NV1 Clearance (gained from working in Federal Government).
