Our client is a well established Commercial Lighting company that supply custom made lighting to the hospitality and retail sectors. Due to some growth in their business, they are looking to appoint a self motivated Purchasing Officer to work within their Inventory team based in Bundoora.

As a back up to the Inventory Officer and as part of the Purchasing Department, the main responsibilities include;

  • Chasing up parts and inventory
  • Communicating with Suppliers over the phone and email
  • Data entry and general administration
  • Use of the in - house computer system
  • Communicating with the warehouse teams in regards to stock levels etc..

We are looking for a real "go getter" and someone who is well organised and can prioritise accordingly.

This role will involve communicating with a variety of different types of people, therefore excellent communication skills are a must. You will be working closely and be trained by the Inventory Officer. Those with some warehouse or basic inventory experience will be looked at favourably.
