job description

The purpose of this role is to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule and terms. Ensuring purchase activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.

The role:

  • Supplier identification - Identify and Qualify new suppliers
  • Negotiations - Negotiate agreements with main suppliers and periodically renews pricelists, terms and conditions.
  • Contracts - Adapts corporate contractual framework to the local business needs
  • Bid Analysis - Analysis and evaluates bids
  • Sales Support - Supports bid proposal teams
  • Good received - Tracks goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing
  • Supplier performance - Oversee supplier performance
  • Orders - Initiates purchase orders in the system
  • Customer alignment - Aligns supplier orders with customer requirements
  • Process alignments - Conducts all Supply Chain activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures

The person:

Minimum of 3 years purchasing experience

Hours: 8:30 to %pm however flexible hours available upon agreement with client.
