This global leader in lighting products is looking for a highly motivated & organised Purchasing Administrator to join their team! Based at their Mascot head quarters you will be working in close cooperation with the Procurement & Product Management teams on all planning and purchasing components. If you are a confident decision maker, have excellent attention to detail and wish to grow and move into Procurement / Supply Chain within a world leading company, then this is the role for you!

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Effective analysis of the supply chain and production plan
  • Manage Logistics Agreements
  • Effectively negotiate content of offers with suppliers
  • Place & monitor orders with suppliers
  • Responsible for inventory levels and inventory control.
  • Undertake security checking on vendors
  • Professionally liaise with all stakeholders
  • Relevant investigation and resolution of any discrepancies in supply documentation
  • Consistently maintaining data integrity and adhering to all company policies and processes

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with ERP, preferably Epicor, otherwise ability to adapt and learn new ERP is necessary
  • Experience & prior knowledge of procurement is a must
  • Previous experience in supply chain and purchasing administration in necessary
  • SAP experience is highly desirable
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Excellent communication skills on the phone, in person & via e-mail
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivated / self-starter
  • Advantage to have Mandarin or Cantonese speaking skills
