Your new workplace is a family therapy service that is currently looking for a passionate Psychologist to join a Multi-disclipinary team on a permanent basis in Darwin. They deliver services to individuals of all ages both on site and in the community. They explore many therapeutic models including CBT, ACT, Equine Psychotherapy and Play Therapy.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Working with participants who have disabilities and/or complex mental health presentations
• TAILORING your approach in order to develop strategies that will help individuals to reach their goals
• Providing subsequent interventions to assist in activities of daily living
• Working within a multidisciplinary team and with important individuals in their life
• Providing psychological interventions and behaviour support to a wide range of ages
• Conducting psychometric, behavioural and functional assessments.
• Ensuring that the team works toward meeting client goals within the NDIS plans

ABOUT YOU:

• Positive attitude with a passion for working creatively within a team environment
• Achieves results! You are motivated to create the best outcomes for participants
• Works effectively yet independently as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Ability to work effectively with people who have a range of functional abilities as well as complex needs
• AHPRA registration as a Psychologist
