Pay Rate: $53.27ph+super
Join a NSW State Government department as a Project Support Officer till the end of 2024. Assist in a large scale operation working alongside multiple stakeholders and meeting critical deadlines. During your time with this particular project you can expand your connections working with several local governments.
... Key Responsibilities:
- Communicating with and engaging the public
- Providing trusted processes for political participants (including candidates, parties, donors, third-party campaigners, lobbyists and associated entities) to comply with their legal obligations, and regulating their compliance
- Supporting transparency by overseeing and publishing disclosures of political donations and expenditure and registers of political parties, candidates, agents, third-party campaigners, political lobbyists and associated entities; advising on and advocating for improvements to legislation
- investigating possible offences and enforcing electoral laws
Requirements
- Strong written and communication skills
- Strong Excel/ computer skills
- Have a keen eye for attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong customer service skills
- Working efficiently within a team environment
- Prior Government experience
- Politically neutral with no affiliation to parties, or campaigners
