Randstad are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in the heart of Brisbane CBD for an IT Project Support Officer. The Project Support Officer will contribute to the co-ordination, facilitation, governance and reporting duties associated with the successful support and delivery of in-flight F&DS projects within the IT Co-ordination Office.

This will be an initial 3-6 month contract with likely extension.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the functions of the IT Coordination Office through the provision of administrative and organisation support, including human resource and financial management duties, risk and issues register maintenance and development of documentation and preparing correspondence;
  • Maintain resource and procurement records including monitoring of engagements and purchase orders for receipt of goods/services and/or invoices and extensions prepared in timely manner;
  • Assist the project teams with reporting activities;
  • Liaise with a range of internal and external clients to achieve effective outcomes for the project and deal with sensitive and/or classified information in an appropriate manner;
  • Assist in the planning, preparation, and organisation of meetings with internal and external stakeholders and undertake preparation of minutes and management of meeting Actions and Decisions.

  • Ability to undertake tasks individually
  • Ability to overcome obstacles and problem solve issues
  • Effective co-ordination of contractor commencement within projects
  • Good communication skills to interact with key stakeholders, internal staff and vendors
  • Delivery of high quality products and outputs
  • Timely reporting to Team Leader and Project Managers on planned and current activities, issues and dependencies
  • Professional representation of our client to internal and external stakeholders.
