We have a Project Risk Lead position available within the Water Sector for NSW Government!
About the Role
... The purpose of the position is to deliver risk management services to Delivery Management including implementing risk management strategies and systems to manage risk across the project lifecycle, and to provide risk management advice and assurance.
Candidates for this position must possess Tertiary qualifications in Risk, Business Improvement, Management Systems or related field, coupled with Risk Management experience in infrastructure, project, safety, environmental, compliance, security or business continuity management
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide advice and report on risk and assurance to the allocated Area Delivery team, in alignment with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
- Support the delivery of scheduled LCS and Delivery Management Risk Reviews, and conduct risk workshops as required.
- Evaluate risk likelihood and impact and prioritize them for analysis and response planning
- Deliver verification of implementation, effectiveness and appropriateness of agreed 2nd/3rd Party Audit actions for the Regional Area.
- Work closely with the allocated Area Delivery Management team to conduct reviews and consolidation of Operational Risks.
- Provide advice to the Regional Area on the integration of the risk framework into business frameworks and processes.
- Prepare and deliver risk and assurance training/awareness programs for the Regional Area, including for the Regional Delivery Consortium.
- Provide risk management analytics and reports including charts, graphs and narrative information to identify issues, trends and opportunities.
Please note that there are 3 vacancies, 1 for each location in Homebush, Chatswood, and Redfern. You will work 40 hours per week.
About You
You will be an experienced Project Risk Lead with proven experience and reliability in previous positions.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in Risk, Business Improvement, Management Systems or related field, or
experience deemed equivalent. - Knowledge of risk and assurance management frameworks and systems
- 5+ years’ experience in risk management and/or internal and/or management systems auditing
- Demonstrated experience in the application of a risk management framework in a large organisation.
- Risk management experience in infrastructure, project, safety, environmental, compliance, security or business continuity management
