About the role

The Project Officer will provide a full range of asset related services to the project in all aspects of facilities management. You will be a point of contact to provide advice and deal with facilities management issues as they arise to ensure facilities and infrastructure remain operational within the project’s lifecycle. This role will also see you actively involved in coordinating timely responses following emergencies such as fire, flood and storm damage to the Government facilities.

Essential criteria


In order to be successful in this role, you will possess the following:

  • Strong all-round MS Office Suite skills
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • High computer literacy with ability to adapt to and learn new systems quickly
  • Building maintenance knowledge/background
  • Experience with contracts administration in a construction/building industry
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in funding proposals and drafting briefs
  • Commitment to working collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proven ability to create positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • A high ethos around maintaining sensitivity and confidentiality
  • Demonstrated knowledge of compliance and adherence to policies and procedures

Highly desirable
  • Recent and relevant project/project management experience
  • Previous Government sector experience
