Project Officer APS 5/APS 6 – Federal Government

Randstad are currently recruiting talented Project Officer’s for a potential permanent opportunity within Federal Government located in Hobart.

These roles will assist with supporting a range of project and business activities to develop the Division’s business model, key enabling tools and systems and associated policies and procedures. The Project Officer will be required to work collaboratively in a team environment.

To be successful in this position you will need the following:

  • Experience or knowledge in business analysis techniques.
  • Experience in project management methodologies or working in a project environment.
  • Understanding of change management principles
  • Awareness of User Based Design principles

The role will entail the following duties:

  • Develop business requirements, workflow processes, policy and procedure documents and training products. This may involve supporting the facilitation of workshops.
  • Undertake impact assessments for potential changes to the business (policies, procedures, IT systems or reporting).
  • Produce written reports and verbal presentations for staff and senior managers.
  • Build and manage internal and external relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Plan, manage and coordinate specific project deliverables.
  • Undertake system analysis and develop solutions.
  • Support the development and facilitation of change management material.
  • Support testing and post implementation review activities.
  • Provide helpdesk support to system users.



This is initially a temporary contracting opportunity with the potential for long term employment opportunities should aptitude be proven within the role.
