    Randstad has been partnering with Government departments across Australia for over 25 years. We are currently working with a highly reputable government organisation based within the Adelaide CBD and surrounds to source experienced customer service officers.

    As an experienced Projects Officer, you will need to undertake a range of tasks in an efficient and effective manner with the ability to meet multiple deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy across the work they produce. The successful candidate will be an integral point of contact within the department and will effectively contribute to the success and objectives of the office. They will be confident in themselves to transition their existing skills across to the projects that they will support.

    The RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Contributing to the identification, review and development of new or enhanced procedures that support continual quality improvement and cost efficiency in a range of administrative and governance practices
    • Monitor budgets and expenditure across ongoing projects
    • Provide a high level of organisation and time management skills with the ability to meet complex and multiple deadlines through prioritising work accordingly
    • Source, retrieve and distribute information as required to the correct professional
    • Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders
    • Enter related data into relevant systems and ensure the confidential management of sensitive information
    • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism across all duties and responsibilities
    • Provide advice on WHS & IM practices and guidelines and contribute to the development, review and implementation of related policies.
    • Supporting other team members and undertaking other duties as necessary to meet team objectives.

    You will HAVE:

    • Previous or current demonstrated projects skills and experience
    • Advanced skills in word processing, Excel and PowerPoint applications
    • Experience working independently and in a team environment
    • Experience in working with high volumes of work
    • High level skills in oral and written communication and able to deal with external and internal stakeholders at all levels
    • DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC) highly regarded
    • Previous or current Government experience and knowledge- highly regarded
    • Ability in coordinating teams with demanding or complex workloads, organise work commitments, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines under pressure and to work effectively with limited supervision
    • Effective interpersonal skills, with proven ability to relate effectively to a diverse customer base, negotiate successful outcomes in an innovative and resourceful manner, whilst maintaining a high standard of professional competence and an ethical approach
    • Developing staff to work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to and encouraging a culture of teamwork and service delivery and taking a shared responsibility for achieving results
    • Experience in providing and managing a wide range of corporate finance and administrative support services
