job description

Randstad are currently recruiting for a Project Officer for a state government department. We are looking for a candidate that has very strong administration skills with government and learning and development experience, to work across a high profile project.

You will need to have the ability to work autonomously as required and take ownership of your tasks, as well as being proactive to drive your work load.

Key duties:

  • Prepare and submit high quality briefings and correspondence to the minister and senior leadership
  • Stakeholder liaison and communication both internally and externally
  • Set project objectives for elements of the project and ensure that they are delivered on time and to budget
  • Coordinate and undertake research and analysis relating to the project
  • Contribute actively towards continuous improvement in the workplace
  • General administrative duties as required

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Government experience is highly desirable
  • Prior project officer experience is advantageous
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
