A local government organisation that is going through an exciting period of change and transformation is seeking an experienced Project Manager of Community Infrastructure to work across a range of high profile projects.
Reporting to the Community Infrastructure Manager, you will work with SMEs, stakeholders, and a range of consultants on Business Readiness activities in preparation for their handover and transition to BAU. You will be accountable for managing the successful client side delivery of approved major projects from inception, business readiness through to project completion and handover.
The Project Manager acts as the nominal asset manager of all of Council’s land and building assets and has a primary objective to ensure these assets support effective delivery of services to the community.
To be successful in this position you will have 10+ years experience in client side / non-technical project based roles in a government context, ideally in the development of major community infrastructure or strategic programs. The scope of work will include the planning and execution of a broad spectrum of deliverables that include people, process and system.
Minimum degree qualifications in a relevant discipline such as project management, engineering, business administration and / or equivalent knowledge or experience, current Project Management Practitioner Accreditation, ideally Prince2 or PMBOK.
