About the role

Starting asap a Project Manager is required for a contract until end of Financial Year with potential for further extension to be based at the council’s main premises. As part of a recent IT budget increase you will You will work on a number of upcoming infrastructure and application projects to upgrade and improve the council’s systems across numerous areas.

You will be developing and delivering a wide variety of project around from asset management to a firewall refresh. With high levels of accountability you will be an analytical and driven individual with exemplary communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

To be considered for this role you will have

  • Experience in state government of local council
  • Previous experience working across various projects including applications, infrastructure, networking etc
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong ability to implement process and lead by example

Ideally you will also have

  • PMP or PMBOK certification
