The Company

Randstad have been engaged by one of Australia's most dynamic and well-known top tier Civil Construction firms to source an experienced Project Manager to join the team. Operating at a national level our client specialises in major roads projects, as well as bulk earthworks across all urban developments and asphalting, pavements, drainage, bridges, pipelines and more. Working on projects ranging up to $800million with an impressive pipeline of projects on the go, this company is well established in the civil community.

About the role:

Working on a major subdivision and minor road upgrade project in Brisbane and surrounding suburbs, you must have a proven track record in delivering large to medium Urban Bulk Earthworks Projects with a civil contractor in similar conditions as well as TMR or RMS knowledge. As the Project Manager, you will report directly into the Construction Manager, providing progress, financial and forecast reports across your area as well as managing the engineering team and monitoring:

  • QA/QC,
  • Procurement,
  • Site safety,
  • Supervision of staff and sub-contractors as well as managing the client relationship,
  • Planning and weekly programming

We are ideally looking for a Civil Project Manager with a minimum of 8 years experience. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a team on one of Brisbane most iconic urban developments with a fantastic reputable civil contractor.

Skills and experience:

  • Degree in civil engineering or equivalent
  • 8 – 10 years post-grad experience working on and delivering bulk earthworks projects in conjunction with RMS or TMR
  • Experience working on transport infrastructure projects in a project management capacity
