A well-respected electrical company whose core strengths lie in the successful delivery of Electrical, Security and Communications systems for medium to large residential and commercial projects; most of which are for Top Tier Clients are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage exciting projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing several sites throughout the greater Sydney area.
  • Meeting with the client, engineers and contractors on an ongoing basis regarding project objectives and progress.
  • Managing client and contract expectations.
  • Attending site meetings and assisting site foremen and teams.
  • Ensuring all equipment needed is available on site.
  • Approving purchase requests.
  • Ensuring all paperwork relating to Ausgrid, Telstra and any other utilities or governing bodies are lodged and followed up so as to not disrupt project timelines.
  • Ensuring budget costs relating to wages, contractors, materials and equipment aren’t exceeded.
  • Programming and allocating men to tasks as needed without additional overtime hours.
  • Ensuring the construction process starts and ends on time, ensuring daily and weekly deadlines are met.
  • Making sure design is met to company standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety and all other regulations.
  • Conducting ongoing quality inspections.
  • Track all jobs on cost reporting data base.
  • Understanding the various roles and their job descriptions within the Company


  • Electrical Trade License
  • Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and Projects
  • 5+ years construction site management experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
  • Skilled at solving conflict between different project members and staff.
  • Outstanding negotiation, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent client and networking skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ideally, the successful applicant will have a can-do attitude and will be ready to hit the ground running.
