Randstad is on the lookout for an accomplished Digital Project Manager to be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of allocated Train Crewing & Support projects so that planned outcomes are achieved, particularly related to schedule, benefits realisation and budget.

The position prepares and updates the relevant projects documentation, status reports, risks and issues and change control to align with the Program Charter standards

Responsibilities include;

  • Develop and control project schedules and planning activities to ensure modules are completed according to established project milestones
  • Manage Digital project to ensure timeframes and deliverables are achieved
  • Manage key project stakeholders to define and integrate project outcomes to business as usual
  • Establish, manage and report on project budgets, scope, issues and risks (includes preparation of variations if required)
  • Report project progress to sponsor, Program Manager and stakeholders to provide timely advice
  • Ensure project delivery and standards meet agreed business requirements
  • Ensure that processes and artefacts adhere to Train Crewing and Support Directorate project management methodology Initiate new projects and workstreams where required
  • Ensure that ICT change control procedures and design assurance standards are adhered to (if applicable)
  • Supporting transformational change given the range of internal and external stakeholders with potential resistance to change
  • Achieving critical deadlines and milestones within tight timelines / budgets to the required standards whilst ensuring the needs of stakeholders are considered and accounted for
  • Stakeholder management of disparate internal and external stakeholders with competing agendas and views of information delivery, technology solutions, and business change
  • Working in an industrially sensitive operational environment Complex technical environment with; legacy systems, limited enterprise-wide systems concurrently undergoing significant change.

To succeed in this role you will have;

  • Qualification in project management e.g. Prince2 or Agile, or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience in coordinating the delivery of Digital projects preferably in an information technology environment
  • Demonstrated experience in utilising project management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Implement effective stakeholder engagement and communications strategy for all stages of projects
  • Monitor the completion of projects and implement effective and rigorous project evaluation methodologies to inform future planning
  • Develop effective strategies to remedy variances from project plans, and minimise impacts
  • Manage transitions between project stages and ensure that changes are consistent with organisational goals
  • Bonus if you have experience with Workforce management systems
