Location: Sydney

Duration: 6 Months Contract

About this role:

The client is seeking experienced applicants who are qualified Project Managers to lead an information management and security compliance project. The project manager will be a key member of the PMO and will be responsible for the end to end delivery of the project.

This individual will engage with a wide range of internal stakeholders with different needs and competing priorities. These include our Security, IT, Information Management teams and members of the PMO.



The PMO is responsible for:


  • Running of a Program Management Office
  • Establishing processes and procedures and precedent project methodologies
  • Promotion of the Program Management Office Tribunal wide
  • Managing and tracking Tribunal Projects
  • Providing Project Management support and capability

Duties:

  • Develop project documentation including project initiation documentation, project schedule, status reports, steering committee packs and closure reports;
  • Manage the project scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, procurement, issues and risks;
  • Review project deliverables, and ensure they are delivered on time, to a specified quality and within budget;
  • Provide project status reports and steering committee packs;
  • Work collaboratively with the stakeholders supporting the program to identify and manage the engagement of resources and subject matter experts in an out of the program
  • Where required, overseeing external service providers are adhering to contracts and standards.



Selection Criteria:

  1. Demonstrated information management (Digital Continuity 2020 Policy) and security compliance experience (PSPF) with a proven record of service delivery.
  2. Demonstrated experience in project management, understanding of project methodologies, processes and procedures;
  3. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and well-developed planning skills;
  4. Experience in state or federal public sector employment desirable.
  5. Highly-developed oral and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders and support change.
  6. Demonstrated ability in working cooperatively with a variety of technical staff, executive management and steering committees;
  7. Tertiary qualifications in project management, IT security, information management or a relevant experience are mandatory.
