Delivery of Medical and Schools projects in Sydney Metro. Solid Mid Tier Builder, high retention of staff. Excellent team

Project Manager – Commercial: Healthcare, Schools, Churches

  • Talented mid-level PM required
  • Tier 3 builder – excellent team, busy pipeline of work
  • $2 million to $10 million commercial projects

The Company:

With a growing client base, this Tier 3 builder has a healthy project portfolio and strives to deliver results of a high standard within the health and education construction services sectors. Their pipeline includes small churches, medical practices and private schools. They are open to new ideas and creative thinking and encourage a friendly work environment for their team. They are seeking a driven and ambitious Project Manager to join their multitalented team.

The Role:

As Project Manager, you will be required to take full ownership of the project; supervising site activities and delegating duties as necessary. You can be a Senior Contract Administrator, Project Engineer or Site Manager looking for the next step up.

Previous direct experience managing on school or healthcare projects for a Tier 2/3 builder will be highly regarded as will a Construction Management or Building diploma.

You will possess a pleasing portfolio working for recognised Australian contractors and will have over 5 years' experience working on similar build projects in the local Sydney arena.

  • Financial Reporting
  • Adherence to BCA standards
  • Site Inspections, establishment and testing.
  • Daily and Monthly reporting
  • OH&S
  • Subcontractor site inductions
  • Client Care
  • Managing onsite issues
  • Working to deadlines, contract and project time frames.

Requirements for the Role:

  • You will be highly motivated and ambitious with drive and passion in a leadership capacity.
  • Confident and looking to exceed in all facets of your work. Delivering on time and on Budget.
  • Exceptional Communication skills
  • Computer - Use of Microsoft Project
  • A “can do” positive attitude and confidence.
  • Good management approach.
