The Client

You would be apart of a diverse team specialising in the management of legal and logistical aspects of local sites across and involved in the roll out, maintenance and servicing of essential networks.

The Role

Implement the allocated program of SAMs within an allocated area in accordance with each approved SAM Project Management Plan delivering on;

The position portfolio elements are;

  1. Safety Management
  2. Construction
  3. Logistics Management
  4. Schedule Management
  5. P and L
  6. Variation Management
  7. Subcontractor Management and Relationships
  8. Product Quality

The Responsibilities

  • Manage the development of the SAM Project Management Plan detailing; delivery strategy, budget, program, materials management, risks and responsible personnel.
  • Achieve signoff of the SAM Project Management Plan Implement and Manage the Project Activities
  • Utilise approved project work processes and procedures to administer the progress of the SAM construction phase
  • Assign subcontractors and manage safe progress of the activities
  • Chair Kick off meetings with Project Team and subcontractors
  • Manage subcontractors
  • Deliver SAM program and milestone targets
  • Deliver to approved SAM budget
  • Delivery compliant quality product
  • Maximise pass through of variations costs
  • Leverage Project Support service functions and co-ordinate inputs in support of the SAM project build objectives

Qualifications/Experience Required

  • Degree qualifications in Engineering, Building or Property related discipline
  • Post Graduate Project Management qualifications (desirable)
  • Experience in Construction Management leading programs of work and managing supply chain.
  • Demonstrable Planning and Project management skills
  • Ability to communicate across a broad range of stakeholders
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
