    Project Engineer - Rail infrastructure

    About your new role:

    Due to demands of the project there is a new position for a project engineer to join a fantastic delivery team. This role could suit an experienced site engineer who is looking for the next step in their career or a project engineer just looking to get involved in a lare infrastructure project. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow with a top contractor and develop the skills needed to progress their career within the rail industry.

    Responsibilities of your new role:

    • Support the Installation team is delivering the scope of works
    • Installation of signalling equipment, including SER’s, trackside, tunnels for both Green field and brown field
    • report technical issues to the Installation Engineers and coordinate with Design Engineers and/or T&C Engineers to resolve issues
    • Ensure Quality paperwork is completed progressively & accurately on site in line with installation progress
    • Prepare schedules and report on progress and monitor the Subcontractors performance
    • Co-ordinate with the Civil Contractors and other third parties on Site

    What you will need to succeed in this role

    • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Construction Engineering with 2 - 4 years’ experience in the field
    • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
    • Knowledge of railway systems, projects and technologies is a bonus
    • Signalling, power systems or control systems experience highly desirable
    • Leadership skills
