In this opportunity, the successful applicant will be required to manage multiple projects, liaising with various stakeholders. Ideally, you will have demonstrated experience in a mining projects environment, and also a financial understanding of what it takes to get a portfolio of projects completed on time and on budget.

In this role you will:

• Manage a portfolio of mechanical and civil engineering projects on a mine site.
• Engage and mentor project superintendents on what's required to complete a project.
• Engage with budget and reporting on project portfolio
• Liaise and report on project progress with various stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Manage budgets and contractors on project progress.
• Provide financial input in leadership meetings and project requirements.
• Monitoring build progress, overseeing finance and ensuring project quality.

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

• Tertiary qualifications in mining, civil or mechanical engineering.
• Proven experience managing various projects within a mining environment.
• Proven experience managing contractors within a mining project environment.
• Previous experience managing financial elements to mining projects.
