This group is an innovative and cutting edge building group who have a fantastic pedigree in providing high end construction, property and FM services to blue chip clientele over the past decade. They are entering their next phase of evolution having established a dedicated construction division who have experienced rapid growth through 2019, and they are expected to double in size in the next 12-18 months.

They have established a first class senior management team whose pedigree in the Melbourne is unsurpassed. You will be rubbing shoulders daily with a GM, Senior PM and SM who have delivered iconic projects in Melbourne, and who have joined this company due to its unique competitive advantage at one of Melbournes leading business precincts and an exciting business plan which will see them push into blue chip CBD refurbishment and fitout projects.

As part of this growth and development they are now seeking to appoint a Project Coordinator to work alongside the PM and SM in carrying out a range of duties from assisting with project planning, permitting, programming and procurement through to on site co-ordination, supervision and stakeholder management. You will also play a key role in the financial management of the projects – procurement, ongoing administration of the head contract and subcontract agreements as well as financial reporting. This is a diverse role where you will rapidly develop your skill set and form all the building blocks to progress to Project Manager level.

The main requirements for this position are:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or Building
  • 2+ years experience in the construction industry in a PC, CA or Estimating role
  • Outstanding communication skills with a natural ability to build ongoing relationships with project stakeholders
  • Excellent administration and IT skills – MS Project and Procore desireable.
