Randstad is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to be responsible for performing a range of planning and coordination project tasks to assist the Project Manager and Senior Business Analyst in the achievement of efficient and effective coordination and management of an active directory migration within the SWIS program. A major function of the role is to ensure migrations are appropriately planned, communicated, monitored, deployed and tested.

Key accountabilities:

  • Provide prompt and accurate advice to users and stakeholders on the project. Take initiative in communicating to users to ensure work packages are completed before migrations.
  • Make sound judgements and advise Project Manager on work packages, migration support and testing.
  • Provide a professional level of project communication in all change management documentation and customer communications.
  • Provide non-technical migration support to users during the phase and post migration for all user queries. Work with Service Desk teams to transition migration support to business as usual.
  • Assist with analysis of complex data from multiple active directories including HR and cross reference all data sets to ensure this is accurate information for migrations.
  • Assist with ensuring user account details are accurate and correct and management of all data related issues.
  • Provide a professional level of project communication and administration of the project activities, supporting the project with practical logistical tasks such as scheduling, organising meetings and other high level administrative requirements.
  • Promote and contribute towards the project management best practices and Infrastructure Office project management methods including governance process and the use of all processes and standards within the project team.

Key challenges:

  • Establish collaborative and influential relationships with stakeholders, customers and colleagues, to ensure easy and effective achievement of team/project/business goals.
  • Manage competing priorities in a complex environment and ensure migrations are delivered on time with minimal disruption and issues.
  • Contribute to creating and maintaining a constructive workplace culture.

Essential requirements:

  • Experience in project administration duties, including but not limited to, the maintenance of project documentation, plans and reports, as well as updating risk/opportunity registers, schedule updates and financial updates.
  • Understanding of Project Management methodologies (PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile) with extensive experience in project coordination for large/complex projects.
  • Experience using Visio and MS Project.
  • A strong understanding of active directory.
