The Role

Randstad is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Programs Support Officer to join our great and fun cultured Client on the Sunshine Coast. This role is a casual position offering 3 days a week.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Provide support to the program delivery team
  • Perform non-technical equipment maintenance and repair tasks
  • Perform non-technical equipment cleaning tasks
  • Assist senior program staff with weekly equipment checks
  • Assist program staff with weekly logging checks
  • Assist senior program staff with quarterly interim inspections
  • Comply with workplace health and safety and industry regulations and standards, including: preparation, maintenance and storage of the facilities and equipment
  • Adhere to program standard operating procedures
  • Maintain effective systems and procedures in relation to program equipment and maintenance.

Mandatory requirements

  • Possession of a current Queensland Drivers Licence
  • Current First Aid/CPR certificate
  • Possession of a current “Paid” Positive Notice Blue Card for Child Related Employment
  • Has attained minimum CIII accreditation in Outdoor Recreation
  • Available to work as required, including weekends, after hours and public holidays

Non Mandatory requirements but highly desirable

  • Pool Lifeguard Certificate
  • Surf Rescue Certificate or QRec recognized equivalent
