job description

The role is responsible for master scheduling. The role includes capacity planning, manufacturing scheduling by department and line, monitoring & reporting on schedule complaince, MRP and materials management. The roles requires communication internally and externally as well with manufacturing and maintenance teams, site leadership, national planning, logistics and various raw and packaging material suppliers amongst others.

The role:

  • Supply information for staff period reviews and monthly shift meetings
  • Planning and finite scheduling
  • Development of manufacturing schedules
  • Management of plans for NPS trials.
  • Lead weekly meetings highlighting short term and long term issues
  • Compliance to schedule monitoring
  • Customer service
  • Inventory Management and quality - Monitor and review finished good inventory levels
  • Monitor and coordinate deliveries of items from suppliers
  • Monitor and report site capacity measurements and identification of constraints


  • Relevant tertiary education
  • Previous Manufacturing experience
  • Demonstrated working knowledge and experience within the FMCG industry
  • Must be adaptable
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Sound Industry knowledge
  • Excellent planning skills
