In the Albury-Wodonga area, our team are currently recruiting a number of Production Operators to work with a locally based, national client.

about the role

Production Operators complete a variety of tasks for our client, so your workday could include:

  • Assisting in the operation of plastic extruders, to manufacture products to specifications;
  • Performing machine set-up and changeovers;
  • Operation of Forklifts and other material handling equipment ;
  • Utilisation of a chainsaw;
  • Completing a range of additional tasks to support the team, including replenishment, picking, stacking and palletizing goods; and
  • Shift work, 12 hour rotating shifts on a repeating seven day roster.

skills and experience

Suitable candidates for these roles will have:

  • Recent work experience in an industrial setting (production, manufacturing or trade roles);
  • Forklift licence;
  • Ability to undertake shift work - specifically 12 hour day and night shifts on a rotation;
  • High level of physical fitness and strength; and
  • Excellent attendance, reliability and attention to detail.
