What Will Your Typical Day Look Like?
- Leadership: Facilitate daily production meetings and provide regular performance feedback to your team. You'll coach and develop both employees and contingent workforce, helping them grow individually and as a team.
- Customer Relationship Management: Manage customer relationships through regular joint meetings, aligning delivery performance with customer needs and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Financial Management: Meet P&L budget and expenditure targets as set by business leadership.
- Performance Management: Ensure the achievement of key performance indicators (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) as outlined by management.
- Continuous Improvement: Co-develop and execute tactical plans to meet company goals, and drive continuous improvement efforts in collaboration with engineering, quality, and EHS teams.
- Operational Excellence: Conduct regular reviews of operational processes and procedures, particularly in relation to repair and remanufacturing work.
What Do We Want to Know About You?
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in repair and re-manufacturing operations, with at least 3 years in leadership roles and customer-facing positions.
- Qualifications: Trade qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical, with strong engineering and process management experience. A degree in business administration, operations management, or engineering is highly regarded.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with a focus on continuous improvement. Experience with Six Sigma/Quality training is a plus.
- Personal Traits: A humble, knowledgeable leader with a bias towards action. You have superb soft skills for managing customers and difficult situations, with the ability to influence and lead through frequent, high-impact communication.
