Overview

My client is a multinational company with an excellent reputation on a worldwide level that specializes in the water, hygiene and chemical sector.

Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, the Product Manager will play a critical role in enabling profitable sales growth by implementing strategies that align with my client’s business goals and add value through strategic sales support.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ongoing Portfolio management duties
  • Managing a product portfolio involving project management across technical, regulatory, sales and supply chain departments.
  • Implementing product management strategies to enhance profitability, retain customers and grow customer satisfaction.
  • Reviewing, rationalising and rebuilding product ranges.
  • Conducting pricing / profitability analysis to determine effective strategies for enhancing sales.
  • Coordinating advertising, editorials, product launches and sponsorships.
  • Be the lead in managing projects related to products in their portfolio
  • Identifying the most effective methods for promoting my client’s products, services and brands.
  • Preparing product launch materials, brochures, in-house printed materials and other sales support collateral.
  • Conducting market research to determine market size, identify new markets and increase penetration in existing markets.

Key requirements for the role include:

  • Minimum 2 years product management experience
  • A tertiary qualification, preferably majoring in a marketing discipline
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong project management ability.
  • The ability to analyse, summarise and present complex data.
  • Creative flair
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications; especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
