Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Design Ownership: Lead the design process for the entire mobile app customer journey, from discovery to post-purchase, ensuring a user-centric experience across all touchpoints.
- Customer Focus and Continuous Discovery: Participate in continuous user testing, gathering customer feedback, and iterating designs with UX Designers and Technology teams to enhance the overall app experience.
- Collaborative Oversight: Provide guidance and oversight to UX/UI Designers, ensuring that individual journey segments align cohesively with the broader app design.
- Prototyping and Testing: Work with the UX Research team to conduct user testing, gather feedback, and refine designs to meet customer needs and business goals.
- Consistency and Quality Assurance: Ensure design consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all elements of the app, conducting regular design reviews and working with development teams to maintain high quality standards.
- Design Documentation: Maintain and update design specifications, ensuring clear guidelines are followed for consistent implementation throughout the app.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Specialists, Developers, and other business stakeholders to ensure design solutions align with business objectives, technical feasibility, and customer expectations.
Core Requirements:
- Proven experience in mobile app design, with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in end-to-end design processes.
- Strong user-centred design skills, with the ability to lead discovery, testing, and iteration phases.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Product, UX/UI, and Technology.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present design concepts to stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, ensuring consistent and high-quality design execution across the app.
- Experience working within Agile teams and methodologies is a plus.
