This Fortune 500 organisation manufactures industrial tools, household hardware and is the provider of security products globally. They are focused on driving breakthrough innovation, digital excellence, commercial excellence and functional transformation.

They are seeking a Product Category Manager to lead and grow the power tools accessories portfolio in ANZ. This is a great opportunity to join an amazing organisation that are driven by quality, safety and sustainability and is a human-centered global industrial company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop/maintain market database for assigned product lines: market size, share, competitive offerings and activity, retail pricing
  • Leverage POS data, tracking key product performance indicators (margin, sales, new products) to drive decisions that impact the business
  • Develop a product plan that realizes the top line and margin objectives set out in the annual ANZ OP
  • Champion new product launches, maintain product roads, track discontinuances and product costs, ensure structure of product in SAP
  • Support brand and communications manager in developing and maintaining websites and catalogues with up to date information
  • Develop new marketing campaigns and product forecasts in conjunction with the channel marketing managers
  • Provide regular updates on new product performance to the business and a result orientated approach that is numbers driven.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualified in marketing or business discipline
  • Minimum 3 years proven track record of successfully leading a small product / marketing team recognized for its brands and professional marketing processes, in a similar product category is an added bonus
  • Problem solver, flexible, able to adapt to new ways of working
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently across all levels of the organisation
  • Strategic thinker who can drive the business forward whilst under demand to deliver the immediate
  • Commercial acumen to design commercially savvy promotions and plans
  • Action oriented, self-motivated and a desire to achieve a successful career
