About the company

We are representing a Department within the NSW Government space that are offering roles within their respective Procurement divisions. This particular role is a 6 month initial contract with high potential to extend and located within the CBD.

About the role

You will be researching, cost modelling and providing analytical support to deliver strategies, inform procurement and category management and decision making. This will involve working with stakeholders, undertaking research and maintaining complex databases.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Source data sets to develop and manage business reporting
  • Collate and Analyse data to provide relevant reports
  • Develop and maintain performance monitoring and reporting systems
  • Produce reports and graphs to provide insight for business performance to inform and support decision making
  • Undertake, manage and review quantitative data analysis to identify issues, propose solutions and solve problems
  • Assist in developing data analysis models to determine success or business initiatives

You will have qualifications within:

  • Thorough understanding and expertise in data manipulation, sorting and analysis tools (Excel, Access, SAP, BI)
  • Quantitative and analytical skills, statistics knowledge and experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant disciplines (ie. CIPS, PCTP level 4)
  • Source-to-contract tools/experience is beneficial but not essential
